DID YOU KNOW?
Did you know that YHWH wants his elect to be set apart from the masses of this world
After many years of dedicated unbiased research, the purpose of this information is to be a starting point or stepping stone for everyone beginning their journey down the path of truth. We DON’T claim to know everything but as we make time for YaHuWaH, we grow and will be guided by the RuWaCh of truth “YaHuWShuWA”. Always do your OWN unbiased research and validate everything EVERYONE says. Our duty as the elect of YaHuWaH is to share the truth, NOT make people believe it. We DON’T want you to think like us, we just want you to think! #LiveToDieForTheKing #FreeThinker #WeaponizedLogic
28 “And do not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor put tattoo marks on you. I am יהוה.”
YHWH gave this command to the nation of YaShRAL (Israel), thus setting them apart from the neighboring peoples who marked their SKIN with the names or symbols of their ALaHiYM's (gods) Deuteronomy 14:2. The background to this law was that YaShRAL, after being rescued from slavery, was between EGYPT and Canaan. Recent archaeology indicates that, while Egypt did tattoo, it was limited to women. Evidence suggests that tattooing the body parts of women associated with fertility (breasts, thighs and abdomen), to show their status and was believed to be a good luck charm to protect the birthing process. Branding (burning a mark into the skin) was also done to distinguish the name of the king or ALaHiYM they served.
This practice had been well-established within Egypt for many centuries, but some of the most detailed sources regarding branding / tattooing was the acquisition of slaves from the 18th and 19th Dynasties. Egyptian tattooing can be definitively traced back to 2000 B.C. In the Roman Empire, tattooing was a degrading practice used to brand slaves, criminals, and was used in pagan religious rites whereby someone became the "slave" of a god. In Canaan, evidence indicates that instead of marking the body with ink, more extreme scarification measures were preformed. Branding, slashing or gashing the skin were used to evoke the powers of their gods or ALaHiYM's. Archaeology, backed by biblical texts, indicates the Canaanites would customarily slash their bodies for ritualistic purposes (1 Kings 18:28), especially to mourn their dead and honor their gods. Leviticus 19:28 seems to imply this when it says, “you will not make cuttings in your flesh, for the dead, nor print marks on you.”
In light of this information from Egypt and Canaan, it would seem YHWH was forbidding scarification, or marking the body. With this said, while there may be no clear passage in the Bible addressing tattoos, this is hardly a license for unrestrained tattooing. As YaHuWaH’s elect He wanted the ABaRiY (Hebrew) people to be set apart from the pagan nations. Against popular belief YaHuWaH is all about EXCLUSIVITY, He wants His people to live a QaDaSH (set apart) lifestyle, separate from the pagan / heathen masses of the world. YHWH HATES pagan traditions so He commanded His elect to be set apart by not engaging in what the masses were doing (marking themselves). People REALLY need to think before they ink, especially if they say they are living a QaDaSh lifestyle unto YaHuWaH. One should ALWAYS ask themselves “would YHWH approve of my actions" and "who is getting the glory in this act they are about to partake in", YOU or YaHuWaH?
The decision to get a tattoo is often made in haste, yet it can have a long-term impact on relationships and employment, and tattoos can be costly and painful to remove. Research (as well as the booming business of tattoo removal), shows that a large number of those who get tattoos eventually wish that they hadn’t. We know and understand many have gotten tattoos (in ignorance) before walking in the truth, and we believe YaHuWaH does extend grace in that situation. We DON'T believe that tattooing in ignorance is a heaven or the lake of fire issue, but for THOSE who KNOW YaHuWaH forbids it and YET they willingly chooses to go against His commandment and do it anyway; this is when THEY will ultimately have to deal with the king. People are free to do whatever they want but just know that one day everyone will have to answer to the King for their actions. We DON'T have a heaven or lake to people in, we are just simply stating what it says in YaHuWaH's word.
So next time you get the urge for a tattoo (or when making any life decisions), ask yourself these questions: 1) "WHO is getting the glory if you get this mark, you or YHWH? and 2) If the Creator was right next to you, would he be pleased and honored if you did this?
(Colossians 3:17, 23 and 1 Corinthians 10:31)
1 “Present your bodies a sacrifice living, holy, acceptable to ALaHiYM, a sacred service with your power of reason.”
23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to YHWH, and not unto men;
7 With good will doing service, as to the master, and not to men
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the master YaHuWShuWA, giving thanks to ALaHiYM and the Father by him.
Unlearn and Re-think EVERYTHING you were taught!
Once the truth is given to a person, and if that person TRULY loves the Creator, YHWH is expecting they make an immediate change, NOT take their sweet time getting there when they feel like it!
30 And the times of this ignorance YHWH winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent
If you DON'T believe us regrading these facts, GOOD! Go do your own research, ASK YOUR PASTOR and find out for yourself, but NOW you cant say "you didn't know!"
2 KhAPhA 2:21 "Peter"
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
ABaRiY 10:26 "Hebrews"
26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins
