HAPPY NEW YEAR
- Spiritual Adultery -
We ALL have been conditioned by tradition and we often believe things that we don’t understand. Don't let your ignorance, arrogance, or traditions stop you from learning the truth! Its time people STOP cheating on the Heavenly Father and begin being faithful to him! All evil needs to prov-ail is for a good person to do nothing!
Civilizations around the world have been celebrating the start of each new year for at least four millennia. Today, most New Year’s festivities begin on December 31 (New Year’s Eve), the last day of the Gregorian calendar, and continue into the early hours of January 1 (New Year’s Day). Common traditions include attending parties, eating special New Year’s foods, making resolutions for the new year and watching fireworks displays. The earliest recorded festivities in honor of a new year’s arrival date back some 4,000 years to ancient Babylon.
If its NOT in scripture we should NOT be adding it in! As the elect of YaHuWaH, we should NOT be joining in with pagan traditions but should be set apart from it!
3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves (trees worship) with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the NAMES of them out of that place. 4 Ye shall not do so unto YHWH your Alahym.
2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of YHWH your Alahym which I command you.
31 Thou shalt not do so unto YHWH thy Alahym: for every abomination to YHWH, which he hateth, have they done unto their Alahym's; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their Alahym's.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, Alahym shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, Alahym shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Its NOT in Scripture
Sadly, Christians will proudly take part in yet another pagan holiday that gives honor to the devil, while claiming that they absolutely love the Heavenly Father and Creator YaHuWaH. When the truth about these pagan holidays are revealed to a person and they choose to reject it, it now becomes all about what THEY want, and what THEY like to do and NOT what the Creator (who gave us life) wants. What is happening is that history is just repeating itself. The wicked pagan holidays in ancient times were all just excuses for the masses to party, have sex and to give thanks to false idols / gods. The same things is happening today, churches use the excuse that taking part in pagan holidays is OK because they have Christianized it. Like we have said before, Christianity is a pagan religion, so CANT Christianize something that is already Christian! Churches also REFUSE to teach the truth and absolutely REFUSE to give honor and glory unto the true name of the Creator YaHuWaH and to his son YaHuWShuWA (Malachi 2:2). Once again we NEVER read in scripture where the Abary (Hebrew) people or the savior YaHuWShuWA took part in these traditions of parting in the new year. Sadly Churches and Christian families all over the globe compromise and have New Years Eve service gatherings in a false name, just like the pagan masses did in ancient times, again where is the separation?
The hard truth is that you will NEVER see a separation because again Christianity core is PAGAN! Until people begin challenging their pastors regarding the truth of whats being taught, they WILL continue to disobey YaHuWaH. Everything that is being done in these mega (and local) churches is against YaHuWaH's word (YaHuWShuWA made flesh). Everyone has the free will to do whatever they want regarding these pagan holidays, but just know those things ARE being written in a book. YaHuWaH will NEVER force anyone to love or obey him, but for those that ARE in the truth; you know this is second nature. People often say that celebrating new years (or the pagan holidays in general) is just harmless fun, time with family and that its NOT hurting anyone; but this if FAR from the truth. For 1) they are unknowingly hurting themselves 2) if they have kids they are hurting them because their disobedience and the lie continues on down to them, which the repeat and last but certainly NOT least 3) you are hurting the heart of Heavenly Father YaHuWaH. Simply put, if you truly love the Heavenly Father you will NEVER cheat on him with the devil (YaHuWChaNaN 14:15 "John")!
Historical and true FACTS
Take a look at this information we dug up and researched in libraries, maybe this factual data will help open peoples eyes as to what "New Years" is really all about. When it comes to celebrating these 100% proven pagan holidays, the big question to those who say they love the Creator with all their heart should be this, "Would the Heavenly Father be OK with you taking part in this, NOW that I know what the truth is?"
2 Kafa 2:21 "Peter"
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Janus Etymology Word Origin
January is named after Janus, the Roman god of doorways, beginnings and endings. According to Roman mythology, Janus, an ancient king of Italy, was the son of Apollo and Creusa. This two faced god was second only to Jupiter and his name was the first invoked in all religious ceremonies.

The earliest known record of a New Year festival dates from about 2000 bce in Mesopotamia, where in Babylonia the new year (Akitu) began with the new moon after the spring equinox (mid-March) and in Assyria with the new moon nearest the autumn equinox (mid-September). For the Egyptians, Phoenicians, and Persians the year began with the autumn equinox (September 21), and for the early Greeks it began with the winter solstice (December 21). On the Roman republican calendar the year began on March 1, but after 153 bce the official date was January 1, which was continued in the Julian calendar of 46 bce. Many of the customs of New Year festivals note the passing of time with both regret and anticipation. The baby as a symbol of the new year dates to the ancient Greeks, with an old man representing the year that has passed. The Romans derived the name for the month of January from their god Janus, who had two faces, one looking backward and the other forward. The practice of making resolutions to rid oneself of bad habits and to adopt better ones also dates to ancient times.
For the Babylonians, the first new moon following the vernal equinox—the day in late March with an equal amount of sunlight and darkness—heralded the start of a new year. They marked the occasion with a massive religious festival called Akitu (derived from the Sumerian word for barley, which was cut in the spring) that involved a different ritual on each of its 11 days. In addition to the new year, Atiku celebrated the mythical victory of the Babylonian sky god Marduk over the evil sea goddess Tiamat and served an important political purpose: It was during this time that a new king was crowned or that the current ruler’s divine mandate was symbolically renewed.
Throughout antiquity, civilizations around the world developed increasingly sophisticated calendars, typically pinning the first day of the year to an agricultural or astronomical event. In Egypt, for instance, the year began with the annual flooding of the Nile, which coincided with the rising of the star Sirius. The first day of the Chinese new year, meanwhile, occurred with the second new moon after the winter solstice.
As part of his reform, Caesar instituted January 1 as the first day of the year, partly to honor the month’s namesake: Janus, the Roman god of beginnings, whose two faces allowed him to look back into the past and forward into the future. Romans celebrated by offering sacrifices to Janus, exchanging gifts with one another, decorating their homes with laurel branches and attending raucous parties. In medieval Europe, the early “Christians” were able to temporarily replaced January 1 due to its pagan roots, but Pope Gregory XIII reestablished January 1 as New Year’s Day in 1582.
Janus was one of the oldest Roman deities, a god of beginnings, represented by gates and doorways (the Latin word ianua). According to Roman mythology, Janus, an ancient king of Italy, was the son of Apollo and Creusa. He is frequently shown with two faces, as on the above Republican coin, a silver didrachm from Rome or south Italy dating to 225-12 BCE, referring to the fact that he looks both backwards and forwards. The first month of the Julian calendar bore his name, Januarius. Janus is called Quirinus (after an early Italic god) and also Geminus ("twin, two faced")
Julius Caesar changed the calendar
Due to the change of the calendar, the new year is REALLY in March! In order to realign the Roman calendar with the SUN, Julius Caesar had to add 90 extra days to the year 46 B.C. when he introduced his new Julian calendar. In 45 B.C., New Year’s Day is celebrated on January 1 for the first time in history as the Julian calendar takes effect.
Soon after becoming Roman dictator, Julius Caesar decided that the traditional Roman calendar was in dire need of reform. Introduced around the seventh century B.C., the Roman calendar attempted to follow the lunar cycle but frequently fell out of phase with the seasons and had to be corrected. In addition, the pontifices, the Roman body charged with overseeing the calendar, often abused its authority by adding days to extend political terms or interfere with elections.
In designing his new calendar, Caesar enlisted the aid of Sosigenes, an Alexandrian astronomer, who advised him to do away with the lunar cycle (which the Abary people originally used to distinguish days/months/years) entirely and follow the solar year, as did the Egyptians. The year was calculated to be 365 and 1/4 days, and Caesar added 67 days to 45 B.C., making 46 B.C. begin on January 1, rather than in March. He also decreed that every four years a day be added to February, thus theoretically keeping his calendar from falling out of step. Shortly before his assassination in 44 B.C., he changed the name of the month Quintilis to Julius (July) after himself. Later, the month of Sextilis was renamed Augustus (August) after his successor.
Celebration of New Year’s Day in January fell out of practice during the Middle Ages, and even those who strictly adhered to the Julian calendar did not observe the New Year exactly on January 1. The reason for the latter was that Caesar and Sosigenes failed to calculate the correct value for the solar year as 365.242199 days, not 365.25 days. Thus, an 11-minute-a-year error added seven days by the year 1000, and 10 days by the mid-15th century.
The Roman church became aware of this problem, and in the 1570s Pope Gregory XIII commissioned Jesuit astronomer Christopher Clavius to come up with a new calendar. In 1582, the Gregorian calendar was implemented, omitting 10 days for that year and establishing the new rule that only one of every four centennial years should be a leap year. Since then, people around the world have gathered en masse on January 1 to celebrate the precise arrival of the New Year.

"People DON'T want to hear the truth because they DON'T want their illusions destroyed"
NOW that you know the truth, when it comes to celebrating the holidays, ask yourself these questions: 1) "Who is getting the glory if I celebrate this holiday? and 2) If the Creator was right next to me, would he be pleased if I took part in this? (Colossians 3:17, 23 and 1 Corinthians 10:31)
Once the truth is given to a person, and if that person TRULY loves the creator, HE is expecting they make an immediate change, NOT take their sweet time getting there when they feel like it!
And the times of this ignorance YHWH winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent Acts 17:30
