Mother's Day (Mother Earth) is just another commercialized pagan holiday?

After many years of dedicated unbiased research, the purpose of this information is to be a starting point or stepping stone for everyone beginning their journey down the path of truth. We DON’T claim to know everything but as we make time for YaHuWaH, we grow and will be guided by the RuWaCh of truth, “YaHuWShuWA” (YaHuWChaNaN 16:13 "John"). Always do your OWN unbiased research and validate everything EVERYONE says. Our duty as the elect of YaHuWaH is to share the truth, NOT make people believe it. We DON’T want you to think like us, we just want you to think!

- Spiritual Adultery -

We ALL have been conditioned by tradition and we often believe and do things that we don’t understand. Don't let your ignorance, arrogance, church or traditions stop you from learning the truth!

For those who are NOT trying to live a set apart life unto the Creator, this is NOT for you, but for those who are willing to give it ALL up
for the Heavenly Father, this WILL hit home!

When the truth is given to a person that says they love the Heavenly Father, they WILL change their ways to please YaHuWaH'! Christians constantly use YaHuWaH's grace as a crutch, but us in the truth KNOW the difference between a mistake and doing wrong. YaHuWaH covers our mistakes or ignorance (which are unintentional) with His grace, but He will NOT use grace to cover a persons constant wrong doings (which is intentional). Scripture reminds us that YaHuWShuWA will send us the QaDaSh RuWaCh (the set apart spirit or what they call in church the holy ghost) and that when we TRULY receive the RuWaCh, its designed to lead and guide us into all truth (YaHuWChaNaN 16:13 "John")! When we change, begin searching for truth (due to the RuWaCh), find it and we see we are in error (no matter what its regarding), we become humbled and willingly correct our mistake, IF we say we love and live to please YaHuWaH our Heavenly Father. Choosing to continue in that error is an individual decision and that choice will be recorded and played back in the ShaMaH (heaven).

YaHuWChaNaN 14:15-17 "John"

15 “If you love me, you will obey my commandments. 16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever. 17 That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn’t see or know him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you.

True Origins

The origins of Mother’s Day can be traced back to the pagan celebration of the ancient Greeks and Romans, 250 years before YaHuWShuWA was born. The ancient Greeks held an annual religious spring festival in honor of a mythological maternal mother goddesses. It was during this period of spring that the Greeks honored Rhea, the Titan daughter of the earth goddess Gaia (Mother Nature / Earth) and the sky god Uranus. In early Roman traditions, the figure of Rhea was strongly associated with Cybele. The Ancient Romans would celebrate a spring festival called Hilaria in honor of Cybele, a mother goddess which was an exotic, mystery-goddess who arrives in a lion-drawn chariot. The Hilaria (/hɪˈlɑːriə/; Latin "the cheerful ones", a term derived from the borrowed adjective Ancient Greek: ἱλαρός "cheerful, merry") were ancient Roman religious festivals celebrated on the March equinox to honor Cybele.

YaShAYaHuW 42:7-8 "Isaiah"

7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am YHWH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Etymology Word Origin

The religious cult Goddess Cybele was accompanied by ecstatic dancing, wild music, phallic symbolism, orgiastic dances and the emasculation of her priest servants. The pagan holiday of Hilaria or "The Day of Joy" (on the 8th day before the Kalends of April – March 25) was in honor of Cybele or Magna Mater (“the Great Mother”). The celebration consisted of a solemn procession, where the most costly plates and works of art belonging to the emperors or other wealthy Romans were carried followed by a statue of the female goddess Cybele. Various games and amusements were allowed on this day with masquerades being the most prevalent. Everyone could imitate anyone they liked including political officials. The entire festival lasted for several days. The religious pagan festival of Hilaria eventually progressed after the 19th century into a more secular holiday where children in Europe started celebrating their own mothers with presents and flowers. The holiday shifted over to America in the 1800's to 1920 where they established an official Mother’s Day.

Ancient Romans also celebrated other pagan spring festivals, which were dedicated to Magna Mater (Latin for “Great Mother”), their form of Cybele. The Romans developed a particular form of cult after an oracle recommended the conscription of Cybele as a key religious component in Rome‘s wars against Carthage. The meaning and morality of her cults and priesthoods were disputed in both Greek and Roman literature, while her celebrations were notorious enough that Magna Mater’s followers were banished from Rome.

As Christianity spread thought out Europe, the celebration of "Mother Church" replaced the pagan tradition of honoring the mythological goddess. The forth Sunday in lent (weeping for Tammuz), a 40-day fasting period before Easter, became known as "Mothering SUNday". To show appreciation for their mothers, they often brought gifts or "mother cakes" (YaRaMiYaHuW 7:18 "Jeremiah") and over time, if began to coincide with the celebration of the mother church. Mother’s day always falls on the second SUNday of May, and like so many other holidays rooted in pagan SUN worship (including Father’s Day which falls on the third SUNday of June), usually falls on the day named in honor of their most powerful ALaHiYM (god) the SUN. Modern day Christians and Catholics also celebrate Mother’s Day during the festival on the fourth SUNday (SUN / Solar deity worship day) of Lent in honor of the Virgin MaRiYM (Mary), the Mother of MaShiYaCh (Christ). Today, these celebrations were expanded so as to pay tribute to all mothers, with various events taking place on the second SUNday of May in over 80 countries worldwide.

What you will find is that a lot of these pagan holidays that center on women worship, that mindset has continued down through centuries to various religions, Christianity being a big one. The spirit of JezebaAL deprives a man of his YaHuWaH given role and this has run rampant in the Christian churches. This RuWaCh is so subtle that the men have no idea they are in disobedience. Men in churches laugh when female pastors say "The man is the head but we are the neck!", husbands in churches put their wives over YaHuWaH because they have been conditioned to believe that "A happy wife is a happy life!" The congregations see the pastors repeatedly cater to their wives so they also take suit. NO WHERE in scripture are these types of sayings and NEVER is it recorded (in the word) where a follower of YaHuWaH or a disciple of the MaShiYaCh YaHuWShuWA followed this lifestyle. There is a HUGE difference between a wife and Lioness and a husband and a Lion. One is chosen for you by YaHuWaH and the other you chose using your righteousness. There's nothing wrong with loving your Lioness but just like everything else, YaHuWaH ALWAYS has an order. The home is NO different and if you truly love your spouse, you will tell them the truth!

Modern day Origin

In the United States, the origins of the official holiday go back to 1870, when Julia Ward Howe (an abolitionist best remembered as the poet who wrote “Battle Hymn of the Republic”) worked to establish a Mother’s Peace Day. Julia dedicated the celebration to the eradication of war, and organized festivities in Boston for years. Fast forward to 1908 in Grafton, West Virginia, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother Ann Reeves Jarvis who, in turn, many years earlier had founded Mothers' Day Work Clubs in five cities. Anna Jarvis began a campaign to make the Mother's Day a national holiday and she succeeded in 1914 when the U.S. President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed the second Sunday in May a Mother's Day. By 1920 Mothers' Day was in full swing and the merchants began making lots of money on the this holiday which was now based on mercantilism. The celebration of candy, flowers, gift certificates, and lavish meals at restaurants bears little resemblance to Julia Howe’s original idea, and Anna Jarvis believed it became too commercialized. It was then that Anna fought to have it abolished, which we see was unsuccessful.

Mother's Day around the world

Mother's Day is a holiday celebrated annually as a tribute to motherhood and is celebrated on various dates in many parts of the world. Although the pagan origins of this holiday dates back to the ancient Greeks and Romans, other Mother’s Day historical traditions can also be traced in the UK, where a mothering SUNday was celebrated long before this holiday started in the US. The now modern form of the celebration of Mother's Day in the United States began in the early 20th century. Now days Mother's Day (or similar events) is celebrated in more than 150 countries around the world, although at different dates. Many countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and many European countries, celebrate Mother's Day on second SUNday of May. On the other hand, in many African countries it is celebrated on 21 March.

ShaMuWTh 20:12 "Exodus"

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which YHWH thy ALaHiYM giveth thee.

Scripture does remind us that we are to honour our father and mother but we have to remember that the days of the
Hebrews are different from today. For the ABaRiY (Hebrew / Negro) people, walking in the truth was their culture and way of life. Worshiping and calling on the true ALaHiYM YaHuWaH was their everyday life and so was their ancestors before them. The Hebrews were NOT caught up in the traditions of men like today, however they did love, reverence and respect their parents, but for them it was NOT about all this materialistic outward show. There is nothing wrong with showing your mother you them love by way of giving her flowers, but if you wait for that one day that the rest of world celebrates moms to let her know she is loved and appreciated, a conversation HAS to be had. Every day in a sense should be a mothers or a fathers days. You honour your parents or their reputation by taking ALL the good traits / manners they have taught you and you live it out. Example: you do and stand for whats right, speak the truth, don't lie / steal or cheat, show others respect and carry your family name with dignity.

Scriptures say we should honour, so when you look up the Hebrew word in the concordance you will see the following:

Honour H3513 kabad כבד (these Hebrew letters "כבד" to English "DBK" or "KaBaD")

Meaning = to be made heavy, be honoured, enjoy honour, be made abundant, to get oneself GLORY, gain GLORY

Glory H3519 kabowd כבוד (these Hebrew letters "כבוד" to English "DWBK" or "KaBuWD")
Meaning = glory, honour, glorious, abundance, riches, splendour, dignity, reputation, reverence

Like we have said many times before, when a person receives the real RuWaCh of truth, they willingly WANT to change their lifestyle to please YaHuWaH and it is no longer about what they want. Just because we were conditioned to do something for so long, doesn't mean we CAN'T change if we find its NOT pleasing to the Heavenly Father. Never do we read in scripture where YaHuWShuWA singled out a particular day to bring his mother MaRiYaM lavish gifts or to spoil her, NO he was ALWAYS about his fathers business. He did however love his mother so much that he gave the ultimate outward showing gift (dying on the tree). We also have to remember that the Hebrew culture was NEVER like what we see in this modern day, emotionally coddling, and materialistic society. We see how the devil very stubbly masked over something spiritually perverted with something that seems totally harmless in the physical. Surprisingly lots of people (including Christians) know this information (regarding the perverted origins of Mothers Day) but due to per pressure, society and conditioning, they compromise the truth to please other people. This SAME RuWaCh (spirit) takes place on SUNdays in the harlot, pagan, christian churches on Mothers Day, spiritual adultery! Once again the churches proudly disobey and add things / traditions to the word (Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32 and KhaZuWaN 22:18 "Revelation"). If its NOT in scripture we shouldn't disrespect YaHuWaH and add it in to please OUR flesh. Taking part in Mothers day like the masses of this world does, is pagan worship and spiritual adultery unto YaHuWaH and it is ultimately giving honor to Rhea / Cybele aka the devil (HaSaTaN).

Unlearn, Deprogram and Re-think EVERYTHING you were taught!

NOW that you know the truth, when it comes to celebrating the holidays, ask yourself these questions: 1) "Who is getting the glory if I celebrate this holiday? and 2) If the Creator was right next to me, would he be pleased if I took part in this? (Colossians 3:17, 23 and 1 Corinthians 10:31)

Once the truth is given to a person, and if that person TRULY loves the Creator, YaHuWaH is expecting they make an immediate change, NOT take their sweet time getting there when they feel like it!

Acts 17:30

"And the times of this ignorance YHWH winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent"
